Today I have a fun project that we did for my most recent class that focused on Washi Tape. If you aren't familiar with Washi Tape, it's a fun, inexpensive product that can be used in TONS of different ways to create great projects. Washi Tape isn't just for scrapbooking or card making ... it can be used in home décor, on gift packaging, to make custom pens or note pads, or so many other things! Today I'm using it to add a bit of fun to my up-cycled embellishment container.
When you buy Stampin' Up! embellishments like buttons or antique brads, they come in these little plastic containers:
As a major Stampin' Up! addict ... I'm mean CONSUMER, I have many, many of these empty containers that I've been hanging on to because I knew they could be used for "something". Well ... for my last class, I decided we would dress them up and they could be used to give small gifts or little treats. So here's what I came up with:
Who wouldn't love getting a little treat in that fun container!? The best part of it is that it costs only pennies to make since I already had the container and you could basically use scraps for the cardstock pieces you need!
Well ... That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed today's project. As always, if you have any questions about how to do this project (or any project you see on my blog), please leave a comment or send me an email. I would love to answer your questions.
Wishing you many creative adventures and a Blessed day!
Kim
