You know what one of my very favorite things is about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator? The friendships! I love spending time stamping with friends or sharing ideas with friends or just TALKING about stamping with friends!
Recently, I had the fabulous opportunity to attend a friend's scrapbook retreat weekend and it was AMAZING! Michelle hosts scrapbook weekends several times a year and this was the first time I attended. It was SO MUCH FUN and I can't wait until I can go again! She spoiled us so much and had so many amazing ideas to share. Don't tell Michelle, but I would pay two or three times what she charges to attend her scrapbook weekend ... it's THAT fabulous!
Anyway ... Michelle is so sweet that after the event, she sent a card to thank me for attending! This is the card she sent me:
Isn't that super cute!? You know the cool thing about this card? Michelle used supplies from the June Paper Pumpkin kit to make this card. In the kit, the pinwheels were attached to straws and were meant to be decorations for the 4th of July holiday. Michelle repurposed the pinwheels to make this cute card. Pretty clever! What is Paper Pumpkin, you ask? It's a fabulous monthly subscription that packages EVERYTHING you need (except adhesive) to make really cute projects in one little kit delivered directly to your door every month. Do you want to know more about it? You can find out more HERE.
Before I wrap up this post, I have to give a shout out to my friend, Michelle, and say that if you want to know more about her scrapbook weekends or if you want to see some of her cute creations, you can check out HER BLOG HERE.
Thanks for stopping by. Please come back tomorrow for the debut of "Faith-based Fridays" on my blog. Every Friday I will be sharing cards and projects that are focused on my Christian faith.
Until then ... wishing you many creative adventures and a very Blessed Day!
Kim
