I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July holiday! What a blessing it is to call ourselves Americans!
I spent the weekend in Raton with my family and we had a WONDERFUL time. While I was there, we celebrated by niece's 13th birthday! It's so hard to believe she's a teenager ... I remember her daddy (my brother) carrying her out from the delivery room and I was thinking "why did they put a pink hat on that baby!?" ... (I was convinced they were having a boy.) She was an adorable little baby and now she is a beautiful teenager (inside and out)! I'm so proud of her!
Well ... since it was a "BIG" birthday, my mom planned on giving her cash for her birthday. She was going to just put some cash in her card, but you know I couldn't allow that! LOL So I took a peek at Pinterest for some fun ways to give cash and found THIS fun idea and so we had to run with it!
Here's what we came up with:
How stinkin' cute is that! I thought it was so cute to put the money in a box of tissue! And the cute little sayings on the box were right up Madison's alley! (She's got such a great sense of humor!)
I'd say she really liked the gift ... what do you think?
It was definitely a hit! Pinterest to the rescue once again!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my blog. If you have any questions or comments, I'd love to hear them!
Wishing you many creative adventures and a very Blessed day!
Kim
